Fish to Honor Event

Join Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort on November 10-12th for the inaugural Fish to Honor Veteran’s Tournament. Help celebrate those who have served as funds are raised for two great causes: 22Zero working diligently to bring awareness and an end to veteran suicide, and the Mission Winter Haven for the work that they do with homeless Veterans.

Registration is open for Tournament Teams, Veteran Sponsors, and Volunteer Captains.   The Fish to Honor tournament is a 2-man team tournament with one angler who must be a veteran or on active duty service member.  Volunteer captains can register to guide a team or be on a team with a veteran or active duty service member.  Family members and the community are invited to enjoy a fun-filled weekend of activities on Veteran’s Day weekend.

Music among the Lakes

Come join us November 5, 2022 (November 6 as a back up) for Sunset and an Evening under the stars enjoying the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Mauricio Céspedes Rivero with an opening by the the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra.  OPO will be celebrating “Broadway to Film” for their return to Windermere.  Bring your blankets, chairs, picnic baskets and sit back with your friends and neighbors for this new inaugural event.

Grounds will open around 4:00pm

ORCHESTRA HISTORY

Celebrating its 30th Season, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is led by Music Director Eric Jacobsen and is comprised of creative musicians and artists from around the world. The Philharmonic annually presents the 11-concert Classics Series and Pops Series in Steinmetz Hall as well as its Focus Series and Symphony Storytime Series at The Plaza Live, a historic Central Florida venue. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s vision is to enrich, inspire, and serve the Central Florida community through the transformative power of live music, and it presents more than 170 live concerts and impacts more than 70,000 children, youth, and families annually through its Young People’s Concerts, Symphony Storytime Series, Notes in Your Neighborhood program, and free outdoor community concerts. Celebration Kicks off 16^th Annual Oktoberfest with Falling Leaves on

October 21^st and 22^nd 

On October 21^st and 22^nd, Celebration Town Center transforms before your very eyes as the falling leaves of the season drop on Market Street in the Fall Festival known as Oktoberfest. Listen for the rustling of leaves, relax by the lakeside and rock your troubles away, and enjoy the live music with family and friends in this one-of-a-kind themed extravaganza.

On Friday October 21^st, join Celebration Town Center in welcoming Central Florida favorite Bryan Malpass. Bryan, a mainstay on the Central Florida music scene brings an eclectic mix of musical genres that leaves audiences wanting more.

Then, come back on Saturday, October 22^rd as Celebration Town Center will celebrate “Rocktoberfest”. Featuring Central Florida’s own Cat Ridgeway & The Tourists with opening act- TikTok and Social Media superstars- Fairview. Town Center will be the place to be to usher in Fall. It’s the coolest family-friendly Oktoberfest in the Southeast, so don’t miss it.

Hop on a hayride, dance to terrific live music, or just stroll and enjoy the crisp fall air and enjoy the great savings at the lakeside promenade.

Leaves fall daily at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 PM.

Join the City District Main Street for a community clean-up in the heart of downtown Orlando. This time we are partnering with the City of Orlando’s Keep Orlando Beautiful and Orlando City Soccer Club to pick up litter and fill planters alongside Gertrude’s Walk with new fresh plants and a new irrigation system. This is part two of this project!
